The SASHE Families of Emotions includes:
– 3 “negative” families of emotions: sad, angry, and scared.
– 3 “positive” families of emotions: happy, excited, and tender.
Emotional Intelligence (EI):“the ability to monitor one’s own and others’
Feelings and emotions, to discriminate among them and to use this information to guide one’s thinking and action.”
